But how did he get re-elected? How does the system work? And who came before him?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First of all, why don&#8217;t you try the following <a href=\"http:\/\/dl.dropbox.com\/u\/47621644\/Election%20system.htm\" target=\"_blank\">quiz<\/a> to test what you already know about the American presidential election system?<\/li>\n<li>Now, take a look at this <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/wp-srv\/special\/politics\/election-map-2012\/president\/\" target=\"_blank\">map<\/a> with the 2012 Election results, from the Washington Post. As you can see, Obama won in those states with a high number of Great Electors (such as California, Florida, Ohio, New York, Illinois) which gave him the majority of the votes.<\/li>\n<li>But what happened in the past? Has the vote changed over the years? Has\u00a0 a President ever won in every state?
